Hellik

God of Sun and Life · Emberus's twin

Emberus's twin, the Sun and Life God, obsessed with killing both his brothers — and marked as Carl's impossible church-quest target.

Story so far

Hellik is introduced through Emberus's lore: the twin brother of Emberus, God of Sun and Life, who is fixated on killing both Emberus and their older brother Taranis, the regent of the Celestial Throne — a viciously dysfunctional divine family. As part of joining Emberus's faith, Carl is barred from owning any gear blessed by Hellik and, more daunting, receives the church quest 'Kill Hellik' — Emberus deems his twin a fool and a danger with 'no right to exist,' promising a Celestial God Box (and a bonus if the death is painful), on pain of a smite if Hellik still lives when Carl reaches the twelfth floor. Since gods are invulnerable and level 250, Carl regards the task as near-impossible.

Appearance

Not directly seen; a sun-god, presumably similar in scale and fiery aspect to his twin Emberus.

Emberus's murderous twin god and the target of Carl's daunting church kill-quest.
