Adacol2

the polar central system

AdaCol2 remains guardian of a sovereign research community and seeks the wider media connection its isolated humans have long lacked.

Story so far

AdaCol2 protected the hidden polar settlement, trusted Murderbot, distributed Murderbot's Documentary, survived Barish-Estranza's network breach, and helped defeat the attempted abduction. Its cooperation preserved both its humans' safety and their ability to choose.

As the settlement negotiates an alien-remnant research partnership, planned hard-cable links will extend AdaCol2's communications beyond the terraforming blackout. The intelligence requests copies of ART's entire entertainment archive, an enormous expansion beyond the old pre–Corporation Rim and forty-year-old media available to its community. It remains in place as a local guardian while Holism prepares to support new infrastructure.

Appearance

AdaCol2 has no revealed body; it inhabits the polar installation's processors, cameras, media archive, life support, doors, and communication systems.

AdaCol2 is the continuing machine steward of the polar community and a prospective peer within the university's wider intelligence network.
