Leuctra ends with a quarter of the fleet lost, both void cities hit, every admiral dead, and Drummer ordering the Transport Union to stand down.
At Point Leuctra, two hundred thirty-seven union and Earth-Mars vessels surround the Heart of the Tempest and expend rails, torpedoes, suicide ships, and high-yield nuclear weapons. The flagship is scarred, vents atmosphere, and loses some defensive effectiveness, but survives every escalation. It then releases an apparently impossible mass of missiles and continues rail fire while maintaining its course.
Suicide attackers evaporate before contact. Guard of Passage suffers a missile penetration and asks to withdraw; People's Home takes multiple rail strikes and drops its damaged reactor core. Roughly a quarter of the combined fleet is disabled or destroyed, and the surviving Earth-Mars command falls to Colonel Fernand Massey of the Arcadia Rose because the admirals are dead. Admiral Anton Trejo offers surrender and asks Drummer how many more bodies she needs. Her answer is zero. Union ships receive the order to stand down, ending their organized battle even while the inner planets' response remains unresolved.
A ragged tactical sphere of vanishing green ships, failed suicide burns, red missile threads, two wounded void cities, drifting reactor cores, and one orange flagship still under thrust.
Leuctra is the public military defeat that strips the old powers of any claim that one prepared fleet can conventionally stop Laconia.
