Anton Trejo

Admiral Trejo · High Admiral Anton Trejo · Trejo · Anton · Fleet commander · High commander of the Heart of the Tempest

Trejo reaches TSL-5 as Sol's victor, uses Drummer for continuity, and invites her into Duarte's generational transfer of population, influence, and culture toward Laconia.

Story so far

Trejo's victory at Leuctra compels the union and Earth-Mars fleets to surrender. The damaged Heart of the Tempest takes three months to reach TSL-5, moving cautiously but unbowed while fewer than a dozen smaller Laconian destroyers secure Sol.

At the transfer station, Trejo is physically ordinary—short, thick, thinning-haired, and slightly bowlegged—rather than the godlike figure Drummer's humiliation wants him to be. He insists she remain President Drummer because profound change needs an appearance of continuity. He expresses regret that Saba is absent, revealing interest in using Drummer to resolve resistance, then extends Duarte's invitation to a permanent convocation of influential people on Laconia. Trejo openly confirms a generational plan to reduce Sol's demographic and cultural primacy through accelerated settlement beyond the gate.

Appearance

A short, thick older man with thinning black hair, bright-green eyes, a slightly bowlegged walk, and an ordinary aging body in an immaculate high-admiral's uniform.

Role

Trejo administers victory as a courteous transition, using old leaders and institutions to normalize a generational re-centering of humanity around Laconia.
