Peoples Home

People's Home · Void city · First and largest void city · Union battleship · Warship · Drummer's command city · Occupied void city

Repopulated after defeat, People's Home follows the Tempest under Stover occupation while Captain Perkins turns Drummer's former command into her lifelong prison.

Story so far

People's Home survives Leuctra only after dropping its reactor core and surrendering. Most evacuated residents return, though some scatter into Belt hiding places. The Laconian destroyer Stover arrives as an escort whose actual purpose is occupation. Captain Rowman Perkins assumes absolute authority with power-armored Marines while treating the void city's people and former president with measured courtesy.

Drummer remains in comfortable house arrest aboard the city, permitted her rooms, exercise, food, music, and censored files but no unsupervised communication. Three months later, repaired enough to travel, People's Home follows the Heart of the Tempest to TSL-5 like a subordinate waiting to bow. It remains populated and recognizable, but its political autonomy and union command function are gone.

Appearance

A vast damaged Belter void city again filled with many returning residents, trailing a Laconian flagship under occupation with repaired sections, guarded corridors, and censored executive quarters.

Role

People's Home is the surviving union capital converted into an occupied population center and visible trophy of Laconian authority.
