Outer Planets Alliance

OPA · split circle

The Belter political alliance that Fred Johnson is reshaping into a power spanning the Ring worlds.

Story so far

The Outer Planets Alliance is no longer only a resistance identity for the Belt. Under Fred Johnson, its legitimate wing is governing and using Medina Station to provide settlers with emergency supplies, soil, water filters, and practical help. Fred expects those obligations to become the basis for political authority as the new systems fill.

The alliance is also building ships at Tycho Station, because aid alone will not protect its influence from Earth and Mars. Its split-circle symbol appears on the gear used in the Callisto shipyard raid, but the chapter does not establish whether the raiders act for the OPA's recognized leadership or a splinter cause.

Appearance

Its familiar symbol is a circle divided through the middle, often rendered as a split circle and worn on Belter equipment.
