Callisto Shipyard Raid

Callisto attacks · attack on the Callisto shipyards

A covert Belter assault that cripples Callisto's defenses long enough to steal Martian stealth technology.

Story so far

The Callisto shipyard raid is executed against the adjoining civilian and Martian military yards on Callisto. A runaway loader blinds the meteor defenses, a disguised freighter contributes targeting lasers, and tungsten projectiles destroy guards and ships in orbit. Under that cover, Filip Inaros's team enters the military depot.

The raiders seize canisters of high-density resonance coating, an energy-absorbing material that helps Martian warships evade detection. The operation also exacts a lethal price: Filip abandons the team caught at the armory so that the escape scaffold can launch on schedule.

Appearance

The raid turns Callisto's crater-bound shipyards into a haze of dust, venting gas, emergency strobes, torn structures, and fragments drifting in thin atmosphere.

Role

The raid establishes an organized extremist Belter operation capable of stealing strategically important Martian technology.
