A scarred Volk contact who rescues Lyria from Ascomanni only to be executed after delivering her to Volga.
Fenrir answers Sigurd's call in Heraklion and confronts the First Ring Ascomanni in a black Pegasus Legion helmet. He is a shorter, lean Obsidian with a long face, a flat nose, scarred lips, a Stained skull tattoo, and mismatched eyes—one black and one green-hued techjob. His calm invocation of a Name persuades the raiders to abandon their threat against Sigurd and Lyria, despite his evident lack of warmth toward the Red.
Fenrir then helps fly Lyria through the fog to Volga's warship, accepting the degrading ruse that she must arrive as loot. The act is a real fulfillment of Sigurd's trust, but it ends in betrayal or punishment within Volga's command. After Lyria refuses to leave Volga, Volga empties a sack and reveals Fenrir's severed head beside Gudmund's. Fenrir's courage gets Lyria to her destination, but he does not live to see whether the mission can change it.
A lean, shorter Obsidian man with a long face, flat nose, scarred lips, and a skull tattoo marking him as Stained. One eye is black and the other is a green-hued techjob; he wears a black Pegasus Legion helmet and Obsidian war gear.
Fenrir is the Volk contact whose nerve and command of custom get Lyria through her first enemy encounter, before the mission costs him his life.
