Story so far
Reeling from the Ash Lord's revelation that his daughter Electra has been stolen, Sevro storms to load the Nessus for Luna—only for Darrow to refuse to come, choosing his marooned army on Mercury over his own son Pax. It is the final betrayal: 'How many times have I followed you?... And now my daughter... my baby.' His decade of loyalty curdles, and he vows he will not follow Darrow again.
He takes the Nessus to reach Victra and Mustang and bring their children home, but leaves without a word of farewell, his friendship with Darrow shattered on the razor's edge. Even so, he sends part of the crew and the hostages to Darrow, snarling the Society Praetors into letting the shuttle escape—Ares to the last, though the brotherhood is broken.
