character

Victra

Victra au Julii · Victra au Barca · the trouble

Electra's ferocious mother, who assaults a Republic warship with her Barca fleet, demanding the witness so she can find her stolen daughter by iron.

Story so far

With her daughter Electra stolen from the Telemanus gala, Victra au Julii goes to war against her own side. Learning the Sovereign's people have the sole witness Lyria, she scrambles her Barca rippers and gunboats to intercept the warship Pride Seven over Hyperion, hailing Holiday ti Nakamura with a growled ultimatum: cut engines and deliver the Red terrorist, or she will cut the girl out of the ship's belly. Contemptuous of 'Virginia's half measures' that lost her child, she fires warning streaks past the cockpit and sends Gold boarders drilling through the hull—'I am the trouble,' she promises—declaring it her turn to get Electra back with words or with iron.

The ambush is broken only when Niobe au Telemanus rises from the Citadel to meet her.

Appearance

A tall, formidable Gold woman, mother of the stolen Electra; commanding a fleet of Barca warships from an airborne position rather than her gunboats.

Role

Electra's mother; a warlord of the Republic who breaks ranks to hunt her stolen daughter by force.

Relationships

Electra — Her stolen daughter, whom she will move heaven and iron to recover.
Holiday — The Sovereign's envoy she assaults and threatens, demanding the witness be handed over.
Lyria — The Red witness she means to seize and interrogate herself rather than trust the Sovereign's process.
Mustang — The Sovereign whose 'half measures' she blames for losing the children, now defying her openly.
Niobe — The Telemanus matriarch who rises to check her assault on the Republic warship.
