Telemanus matriarch who rises from the Citadel in pale-blue fox armor with a host of Martians to break Victra's assault on the witness's ship.
When Victra au Julii's Barca fleet ambushes the warship carrying the kidnapping witness Lyria toward the Citadel, Niobe au Telemanus 'comes to war.' As Republic vessels rise from the Citadel landing pads to escort the beleaguered ship, she ascends at their head—a huge figure in pale blue fox armor leading dozens of armored men—to relieve Holiday ti Nakamura's running battle and shield the Republic's only lead. Her intervention comes even as her own husband Kavax lies felled and her allies' children are gone, the Telemanus house thrown headlong into the crisis over the stolen heirs.
