Silver Benefactor Box
A box from your sponsor is a message from your sponsor, and Katia's said something specific about family politics.
Story so far
Katia Grim announced a silver benefactor box from her sponsor while the party was still working the cart onto a coloured line at Trainyard H; Daniel Bautista mentioned he had a sponsor box of his own from Jaxbrin Amusements, Limited that he had not opened yet. Princess Donut was delighted — a sponsor box and a Fan Box to open in the same sitting.
In the safe room at Station 59, after the fan box produced riot gear, Katia opened the benefactor box. A single small item appeared: The Bolt of Ophiotaurus, a crossbow bolt that briefly cancels a god's invulnerability. Carl's reaction was immediate — 'I'm starting to think the sister isn't a huge fan of her big brother.' The party's standing rule going in was that benefactor boxes do not contain cursed items, so whatever Princess Formidable intended, it was intended as a gift.
