Rush

Rush skill

The skill Katia hates is now mandatory: it is the equip requirement for the shield her followers voted her.

Story so far

Rush's status changed twice in one paragraph. The Enchanted Shade Gnoll Riot Forces Crowd Control Shield carries an explicit warning — you may not equip this item; the Rush ability is required to equip it — and then upgrades Rush into Crowd Blast, the same battering-ram charge but with a wide damage cone behind it and a five-minute cooldown instead of once a day.

Katia Grim could not tell whether her followers were trolling her, because people know she hates using Rush. It is the skill that killed Hekla, which is precisely the problem: it works, it is uncontrollable, and it does not care what she aims at. Carl told her she would be getting more practice with it. She made a noncommittal grunt.

Appearance

A charging body-slam, still exactly as blunt as it was, now with a shorter fuse.

Role

Katia's most powerful and least-liked ability, promoted by loot into her defining one.

Relationships

Crowd Blast — What the riot shield turns it into.
Hekla — Killed by the base version of this skill.
