A benefit that doubles your effective mass whenever your whole moving body strikes a living creature.
Avalanche is the benefit carried by the Enchanted Wrestling Belt of the Great Gorgo, and its wording is unusually plain: if you hit a living creature with your body while you are moving, the force exerted on that body is as if they were struck by twice the mass. The entire body must be in motion for it to trigger, and the effect does not translate to weapons. The system also advises taking the belt off before getting busy with anyone, particularly if you are the top.
For Katia Grim, whose class already converts momentum into constitution and whose signature Rush is a body-as-battering-ram charge, the benefit is close to ideal. Carl reads it and immediately proposes sticking her to the front of another train; he keeps to himself that it also makes Rush — the skill that killed Hekla — considerably worse for whatever it hits next.
No visible effect; a passive multiplier on the force of a full-body impact.
The mass-doubling benefit that turns Katia's body into a genuinely siege-grade weapon.
