Rev-Up Vitamin Shots

the drug vials · the vitamin shot

The addictive shot the goat men hand out — and, per Mordecai, a metaphor with needles.

Story so far

Carl recalls the vitamin shots while Mordecai explains the floor's politics: the Pooka were the ones giving the addictive doses to the mobs, as Elle McGib and Imani C found out first-hand. Reframed as propaganda, the drug is the load-bearing part of the cartoon — the Krakaren synthesises it, the Pooka distribute it, and the argument is that The Plenty have got the entire galaxy hooked on something they can switch off at will.

Appearance

Small race-specific vials of sedative, handed out at the every-fifth stations.

Role

The floor's addiction mechanic, and the centre of its metaphor.

Relationships

Pooka — Distribute them.
Krakaren — Cast as their manufacturer.
The Tunneling System — What the drug is meant to stand in for.
