A small red demon and former crawler, friend of Carl, secretly organizing a soldier force in Sheol for a long-planned move.
Forkith is a small red demon — and, per the parade's Big Six lore, a former crawler — who reveals himself in the epilogue as a hidden player. In Sheol, the fifteenth floor, he saves the newly-arrived Louis by fitting him a blood-filtering leech to survive the heat, then explains why Louis is there at all: not everyone routed through the 'Nothing' portal went to the Pineapple Cabaret; the Cabaret has enough defenders, so Forkith's people diverted soldiers like Louis, Chris, and Britney to 'a different front.' He introduces himself as a friend (sort of) of Carl and Pontiff, and hints at a long game: 'A lot of us have been working for a very long time, waiting to make our move.' Sheltered from the Scolopendra attacks by having 'separated out from the code just in time,' Forkith emerges as the organizer of a clandestine resistance army massing in Sheol.
