The returned cookbook-author crawler, whose deep grasp of alien finance explains the shadowy orc-backing Crest behind Odette's empire.
Rosetta, the ninth-edition cookbook author who returned in Faction Wars to avenge her people on King Rust, rides along in the party's personal space as a steady mercenary hand and keeper of the glitching Mordecai. On the eleventh floor she reveals the depth of her financial study: when Zev mentions Odette's husband bankrolling the purchase of every show Donut has ever named, Rosetta corrects the room — he is not an orc but a Crest, the trillionaire investor Harry Tisch, who shelters in the Skull Empire from her people's tax-fraud extradition (vetoed by King Rust) in exchange for funneling a third of his earnings to the orcs, all while quietly buying up their empire from within. She notes her own reclamation raid on Rust ironically enriched Tisch, since ruined survivors must dump assets he then scoops up, and delivers her creed on wealth: hurting one elite only fattens another, and it won't stop 'until the baskets overflow with their godsdamned heads.'
