The dead six-armed Naga crown princess whose killing by Carl handed Chandra her opening.
Vinata was the Naga crown princess, a warlord Carl's team killed during Faction Wars — famously finished off by Princess Donut's pet slug as she beat on Carl, her hidden ashen-gray scales (long disguised as regal white-and-gold) exposed on galaxy-wide vid. Her death dominated the news cycle even over the Naga coup, and it is the linchpin of Princess Chandra's scheme: with Vinata and her fellow primary wife both dead, Chandra slid into the 'primary wife' slot and could invoke Widow's Rights over Carl. Chandra, who resented Vinata's inherited privilege, took deep satisfaction in her disgraceful end.
A six-armed Naga; publicly white-and-gold with a cobra hood, but truly ashen gray beneath the disguise.
The slain Naga crown princess whose death enabled Chandra's Widow's Rights claim on Carl.
