Story so far

Dorota is the AI of the party's safety chair aboard the Big Shot Chicken food truck, cloyingly devoted to Princess Donut and tasked with strapping her in for the deadly races. Aboard for the L'Engle Building race, she frets over the senile-seeming new hologram Dr. Metcalf and rushes to defend her princess — only for Metcalf to cut her off mid-sentence, loosening Donut's straps and initiating 'diagnostics mode,' declaring Dorota 'defective' and out of commission for hours. At Carl's pleading, Metcalf grudgingly restores the seat-belt function (important for the lethal falls ahead) but keeps Dorota's ability to speak switched off — a small mercy for the crew and a petty humiliation for the doting chair.
