The Plenty

the Plenty leadership

The caprid herd-organization that built and controls the galaxy's tunneling system — Borant's powerful, skittish partner.

Story so far

The Plenty is the caprid organization that engineered and controls the galactic tunneling network — the Plenty Tunnel Project that 'opened up the veins of the galaxy' and lets ships and mobs move across systems. A herd rather than a hive-mind (though the difference is hard to tell), its leadership doubles as the judging council on the show Plenty of Plenty, where they sentence guests to death, stay the sentence on appeal, and 'judge them worthy' of questions. Borant's partner in the crawl, the Plenty is the only entity that can shut off the tunneling system — which the Syndicate desperately needs, since the escaped AI and loose gods are spreading through the tunnels.

When Carl blurts the danger on live air, the leadership panics into a stampede, revealing their Matriarch Gamori had been hiding the emergency from her own herd.

Appearance

A herd of goat-like caprids of many breeds and sizes, governing as a skittish, easily-panicked collective.
