A goat-like caprid race who invented the galaxy's real-time tunneling comms system — smeared by Borant's floor as the Krakaren's puppets.
Story so far
The Plenty are a caprid (goat-like) race whom Mordecai identifies as the real-world referent behind the floor's Pooka drug-dealers. They invented the modern tunneling system — proprietary, near-universal, real-time communications that only appeared a few hundred seasons ago and transformed the galaxy: before it, crawl broadcasts reached outer systems on delays of an hour to a year, filtered through the wormholes, with only the center system live. Their breakthrough let the outer systems follow and favorite crawlers in real time, driving enormous prosperity.
But rivals like the kua-tin Bloom — and Borant, whose obsolete relay stake the tech destroyed — spread conspiracy theories that the Plenty use secret Krakaren technology to hook everyone into the Krakaren collective mind. The Iron Tangle weaponizes that slander: the Krakaren brews the drugs, the Pooka (the Plenty) push them, all to paint the two as insidious universe-poisoners — even as Borant uses the very tunneling tech to spew the hate.

A caprid, goat-like people; represented in the dungeon by the goblin-to-giant-goat Pooka.
Role
The galaxy's telecom innovators, the real-world target of the floor's bigoted political cartoon.
