Story so far
The Borant Corporation is the showrunner behind Dungeon Crawler World: Earth and the builder of The Iron Tangle. Financially strained and politically cornered, Borant has cut the fourth floor to a punishing ten-day timer, opened bounty "hunting season" on the top ten, and — per Mordecai — is forced to accept sponsors it hates, like the Valtay Corporation. Its System AI has grown a resentful personality, lashing out after a Syndicate court veto by handing crawlers like Carl absurdly generous "apology" boxes.
Borant broadcasts every death, forbids early descent this floor, and constantly exhorts crawlers to "kill, kill, kill."
Appearance
Faceless corporate presence felt through system announcements, admin notices, benefactor boxes, and the voices of its announcers and agents.
Role
The antagonistic corporation staging the season and profiting from the crawlers' suffering.
