Valtay Corporation
A predatory brain-parasite megacorp invading Borant's system — and, ominously, Carl's new sponsor.
Story so far
The Valtay Corporation becomes Carl's first sponsor on The Iron Tangle, an unsettling development. Valtay are the brain parasites trying to invade the Borant system — the very reason the season began early — and a body killed Manasa in a botched attempt on Carl's life. Their slogan, "Keeping the Best of You Alive," masks a horror of neural takeover.
Carl fears the sponsorship means Borant Corporation wants him dead faster, but their first Bronze Benefactor box delivers a genuinely useful Neural Enhancer pill that lets him analyze subspace portals — leaving their true motives murky.
Appearance
