An eccentric goat-like herd species who host Plenty of Plenty as a judging 'interlocution' roundtable.
The caprids are a goat-like species — the same kind as the unsettling Liaison Harbinger and the creepy children from the art-show contest — who host the show Plenty of Plenty. Not a collective mind but very much a herd (the line between the two, Lexis warns, is hard to draw), they conduct interviews as an 'interlocution': the guest sits at the center of a roundtable of about a dozen caprids who judge them, and being deemed worthy of a question is a great compliment. Guests may decline to answer if they don't judge the caprid worthy in turn, and the segment ends with the guest expected to 'exert' themselves in some unexplained way.
Lexis stresses most caprids, unlike Harbinger, are eccentric but good-natured, and several crawlers have had a decent time on the show.
