location
Temple of the Exploding Snake Goddess
A hazardous temple squarely blocking the shortest jungle route to the Upano pit stop.
Story so far
The Temple of the Exploding Snake Goddess is a location on the jungle Heat Four map, sitting directly in the path of the shortest, most direct route to the Upano pit stop. Dr. Metcalf flags it as a quest-or-boss hazard to avoid, recommending the party veer off the direct line before reaching it and instead ford the I-Sure-Hope-These-Piranhas-Haven't-Learned-to-Fly River and loop around. A characteristically lurid dungeon landmark the crew deliberately skirts.
Appearance
An unseen jungle temple named for an 'exploding snake goddess,' marked on the race map as a hazard to avoid.
Role
A jungle-map temple hazard the party routes around en route to Upano.
Relationships
Dr. Metcalf — Flags it as a boss/quest hazard and plots a course to avoid it.
Upano — The pit-stop city the direct route to would pass this temple.
