Sand-filled chamber ten flights below the tower's summit where Everly and her last two mercenaries were crushed.
Ten flights down from the summit of The Tower Maze, the forced descent left Everly and two surviving mercenaries in a chamber whose rock ceiling grinds slowly downward while sand pours in from all sides until it lies a meter deep. The only light comes from scattered ceiling lamps that give the room a yellow, sickly glow.
Escape requires The Keyhole buried somewhere in the sand — and the key, which they never found on the level above before being forced to jump. Everly's Dwarf Mercenary digs for it bare-handed until his fingers bleed; Everly's Ogre Mercenary first tries to hold the ceiling up, then digs so wildly he refills the dwarf's hole. Everly simply sits and contemplates The Inevitable Ruin. All three die here, and the room becomes her recorded dungeon exit on The Eighth Floor.
A low chamber lit by sickly yellow ceiling lamps, its cracked rock ceiling groaning steadily downward as sand streams in from every side and drifts a meter deep across the floor.
The final set: an inescapable room that stages Everly's death and the ogre's awakening.
