Unnamed ex-crawler sent by the not-for-conquest to accompany Tipid to a Viceroy system.
When Tipid asks where home even is, Damien answers with an organization instead of a place: a new Not-for-Conquest that helps destitute former crawlers and employees find their footing after transition. Damien has already told them Tipid is coming, and they are sending someone to accompany him to the Viceroy System where his Brain Lesions will be repaired.
The escort is, pointedly, a former crawler himself — the only kind of person likely to understand why a man in a Zero Zone sees blood on clean hands, or why he would throw Tipid's Key across a table rather than keep it.
Not described; identified only as a former crawler.
The stranger sent to walk Tipid to his treatment, and his only human support on release.
