Trenches

The Trench Line · Fall-Back Positions

Dug-in positions on both borders where Team Retribution's troopers wait out the opening bombardment.

Story so far

At the Southern Front the troopers are already in their trenches, waiting for the enemy push, while in the north the enemy has started moving in and Florin directs the defense from the northern trench line. Chris and Clay-Ton hold positions there together.

The trenches are backed by Flame Spider Tanks, five north and four south, and are the reason Carl grounds Jamal: the trenches are not really designed for a hammerhead shark. Carl leads his Personal Guard to the southern trenches personally, having no teleport option under the Teleport and Phase Ban.

Appearance

Earthworks cut into the flat ground near the borders, occupied by dug-in troopers and defended by spider-shaped war machines.

Role

The frontline defensive works on both of Larracos's contested borders.

Relationships

Southern Front — Trench line Carl is riding to reinforce.

Northern Front — Trench line Florin commands.

Flame Spider Tanks — Deployed in support of the trenches.

Jamal — Excluded because the trenches cannot accommodate him.
