Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook

The Cookbook

The crawler's underground manual, whose tenth edition was written by York during his years outside the dungeon.

Story so far

The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook is the crawl's most valuable contraband text, passed between crawlers as a manual for surviving and sabotaging the dungeon. The epilogue attributes a specific edition to a specific hand: York's status entry names him the author of the tenth edition.

He wrote it after taking the deal at the end of the tenth floor, in the years he spent as a Game Guide and as a Guildhall Instructor in the Poetry guild, and then in self-reflection and contemplation - the same emptiness that produced his terrible poems produced the book many crawlers have leaned on since.

Appearance

A crawler's manual circulated in successive editions, each written by a different former crawler.

Role

The crawl's inherited survival manual, its tenth edition authored by York.

Relationships

York — Author of its tenth edition
