Story so far
As Open Hostilities begins, the long-range magical artillery from deep in The Dream's territory starts to fire. The massive flaming balls are significantly bigger and more powerful than what they were able to fire during the previous phase, and they arc through the sky, likely split evenly between the FUPA and the Nest tower. Their passage paints the night, as if tearing a hole through the fabric of darkness.
The Princess Posse expected the magical artillery — what they had not anticipated were the Reaver Seeker Missiles. Tran then reports that the artillery is targeting his forces rather than the headquarters, and spreads out and bunkers in, which tips Carl off that the Dream have something else planned.
Appearance
Massive flaming balls arcing across the night sky, their passage tearing bright holes through the darkness.
