character

Emberus

The fire god fills the ninth floor with fire, giving the crawlers a three-minute warning to leave.

Story so far

After releasing Samantha — whom he had intended to eat before throwing her into the volcano as she asked — Emberus set about blowing up the world. A warning went out: Emberus will destroy the ninth floor in three minutes. The volcano erupted, red comets streaked across the dawn sky above Larracos, and the heat became sweltering.

When the crawlers finally cleared the floor, only two beings remained on it. One was Emberus, who filled the world with fire. The other was Justice Light, hidden by a spell, waiting to spring his trap; Emberus's fire is what finally engulfed him and gave rest to his tired soul.

Appearance

Not seen directly; present as world-filling fire, an erupting volcano, red comets across the dawn sky, and unbearable heat.

The god who burns the ninth floor to nothing, providing both the deadline and the pyre for Justice Light.

Relationships
