The Corpse Flesher Plan

The Corpse Field Ambush

Thousands of corpses dropped as a kill zone, meant to become fleshers the moment enemies walked through.

Story so far

Between the former The Madness stronghold and the incoming enemy, thousands of corpses were dropped onto the field — a map showing nothing but Xs. The original design had Bodi retreat so that pursuing forces would walk right into the corpse field just as Princess Donut cast You're Not Done Yet.

Instead the Rolling Battle Formation Ball arrives, and Donut casts anyway. The flesh tears from every corpse at once with a riiiiip like fabric, thousands of skins zip into the air, and the resulting Fleshers flap onto the ball hunting The Dream and The Reavers soldiers sealed inside. Blood mists down over Carl and the field. The system calls it Donut's second Atrocity.

Appearance

A vast dark field carpeted with corpses, rendered on the map as nothing but blinking Xs.

Role

The battlefield trap that becomes the chapter's centerpiece of horror.
