The Adjudication Process

The Adjudication · the-adjudication

Formal rules hearing whose settled rulings bind crawlers but whose details are never volunteered.

Story so far

Carl discovered the hard way that the question of working with an unaffiliated crawler had already been adjudicated and settled long before he thought to ask. Baroness Victory told him she follows rules and is not to be an intelligence source: he is free to inquire about any ruling, but the specific details of adjudications are not freely offered.

The hearing over The Naga's Foul claim against Prepotente was itself an adjudication. Prepotente won it, but during the process he threatened every member of the Minor Quorum multiple times, and the quorum answered with a Penalty Stasis. He called it a kangaroo court and complained of being forced to defend himself "like some unwashed criminal off the street."

Role

The dungeon's legal process, quietly shaping what crawlers are allowed to do.
