Foul

Illegal Interference

A formal rules objection; Drick calls one against his own team over the war mages' contact with Juice Box.

Story so far

Baroness Victory reports that Drick has called a foul against his own team, and admits she is not certain why. She believes he is claiming illegal interference — the same charge she says she would have brought against Carl if he had allowed Prepotente to fight on his behalf before formally joining up.

She rates the claim shaky: it only works if Drick can prove the so-called War Mage Rebellion has been talking with Juice Box this whole time, and even then, if the Rebellion counts as a genuinely independent entity, she doubts it will stick. A full quorum has been called to decide it, and Victory teleports away to the hearing. Carl's side has a stake beyond principle: a favorable ruling might recover the stolen Gate of the Feral Gods pieces.

Role

The legal instrument through which the gate's theft and the war mages' status will be adjudicated.
