Donut asks Baroness Victory whether her sister, the orc queen who got blown up when her nephew tried to assassinate the Princess Posse, was nice or a jerk. Victory answers without flinching that she and Ugloo once had very similar outlooks on life, but that marrying into the royal family cost Ugloo much of who she was, and Victory supposes she was quite unhappy with how things turned out.
The sisters had not spoken in a long while, but Ugloo sent Victory a message shortly before her death, asking whether Victory planned to serve as an adjutant this season and mentioning that she was heading to the Scolopendra Club to meet the king, who wanted an outing before the fighting started. Donut's reason for asking is her own rule that you can judge someone by how they talk about the dead.
