The Castle

Gone from Larracos, leaving only a bed of dead roots over a giant hole, with its trap tunnels unused.

Story so far

Where The Castle used to stand there is now a bed of roots as thick as elephant trunks, so old and dead they turned to mulch the moment anyone touched them. They seemed to be covering a giant hole, and Carl wondered whether walking out onto them would drop him all the way to the land of the gods. The massive dwarven digger was gone as well, leaving a dark hole behind.

Donut mourned that they never got to use the whole tunnel of traps after all that work: it was built up, and nobody ever got to the throne room to find out it was directly below and that they'd have to go through a whole Home Alone house to reach it. Baroness Victory revealed that Justice Light had built a trans-dimensional trap right underneath the castle, disguised among the regular traps, without Rosetta noticing.

Appearance

A ruin reduced to a bed of dead, elephant-trunk-thick roots that crumble to mulch at a touch, apparently spanning a giant hole.
