Enemy Spies

spies

Infiltration threat that forces Carl and Boomer to plan the naga raid entirely in code.

Story so far

When Boomer raises the idea of moving on the Operatic Collective castle, he pointedly does not say the name of the operation out loud, in case of spies.

Carl follows the same discipline: his reply that the orcs have just gained a castle and will be expecting an attack, so it has to happen when they least expect it, is also code. The spy threat is the same one that split The Bloc — Donut expected the orcs to break away over the whole "we've been spying on you" business.

Role

Pervasive infiltration risk that governs how the crawlers discuss operations.
