Story so far

After the Outreach Guild found him work that would never take him down a gravity well again, Volteeg served as security aboard the Auditor General's compliance barge, a vessel that moves from system to system enforcing debt. From its decks he watched the The Operatic Collective fart and gurgle with glee as they bombed settlements back to oblivion whenever the residents couldn't pay their mortgages.

Most of his co-workers there were like himself, calling themselves the One-Offs — unique former crawlers with no home and bodies that don't work outside the dungeon. His two partners aboard, a wheelchair-bound Djinn and a former-human Cave Fairy, were his only real friends, and he is grateful neither of them was brought to the The Solar System to be dragged to the surface and made to fight crawlers.

Appearance

A large interstellar barge that travels system to system, staffed by security personnel who never need to leave shipboard gravity.
