Story so far

Heat Absorption is the third enchantment on the Oversized, Cumbersome Door, revealed in the info box that pops up the moment Carl touches it: Apprentice Quality, 80% strength, 3/3 enchantments active alongside Battering Resistance and Force Reflection.

Fire is a live concern at The Princess Posse Base Camp — Carl watches a fireball flash through the air and crash into the palisade's metal posts, leaving them glowing red, as crews deliberately test the walls while building them. Enchantments like this, applied by Langrim's staff, are what those tests are measuring.
