Story so far
Ahead of the assault on the The Madness Castle, Carl asked most everyone to give the dead bodies from their Graveyard to Bodi and the 103rd, so that a metric fuckton of corpses could be dropped on the battlefield in one place.
The pooled bodies were the raw material for The Corpse Flesher Plan, which needed them within range of Donut's You're Not Done Yet. When the Madness army marched away from that battlefield to face Carl instead, the entire collective graveyard donation was wasted unless someone went back out to pick the corpses up again.
