Black Nimbus Status
Status shown as a crackling black halo that marks the bearer for death by gods and cancels divine protections.
Story so far
Black Nimbus manifests as a crackling black halo around the head, beneath which the marked-for-death symbols of individual gods appear and circle. Carl is still carrying his own nimbus and its divine marks through the escape, which is why he refuses to go near the vine-choked hallway where Diwata may be — the moment they notice him, they will come after him.
It can be negated: Prepotente reports over Battle Chat that he cancelled his with a potion the moment they were clear. Offensively, it is devastating against the Basilica Guards — splashing Brother Widespread Tempest snuffs the holy flame in his hand and visibly erases the "Un" from his Untouchable status, exposing him to every god who has marked him.
Appearance
A crackling black halo hovering around the target's head, ringed by circling marked-for-death symbols belonging to individual gods.

The divine death-mark that both endangers Carl and serves as his weapon against Untouchable ogres.
