Story so far
The warlord positions of the Faction Wars proved to be the war's actual win condition. Ferdinand and Juice Box both held warlord posts and both deliberately left the realm within seconds of Zerzura triggering.
The system ruled that under the current ruleset they had abandoned their posts and forfeited their positions. With its warlords gone, Team Retribution was declared defeated and Princess Posse won the Faction Wars — victory achieved through a rules exploit rather than through slaughter.

The faction command role whose abandonment ends the Faction Wars.
