Pazuzu

feral pazuzu · scorpion men

The land quadrant's winged scorpion-demon mobs — feral and deadly at night, driven mad by exposure to the Nothing.

Story so far

The pazuzu are the dominant hostile creatures of the fifth floor's Land Quadrant — winged, scorpion-tailed demon-mobs Gwen fights with her spear (piercing one, vaulting over it, hurling it at another). Many have turned 'feral,' emerging at night and rendered berserk by exposure to the Nothing (any creature stuck in the void more than a few minutes goes mad — the mage Ghazi's doing). The 'drunk scorpion guy' who serves as the quadrant's exposition NPC (its answer to Juice Box) is one of their kind; a pazuzu also runs the pub Cuttlefish Point that Louis got the crew banned from.

Their boss having been cleared, they remain a nighttime menace the party must beat back around the sandcastle.

Appearance

Winged, scorpion-tailed demonic humanoids, some shirtless and pierced; feral ones emerge at night with maddened aggression.

Role

The land quadrant's primary mob — winged scorpion-demons, many driven feral by the Nothing.

Relationships

Gwen — The spear-fighter who kills them with acrobatic flair.
The Nothing — The void whose exposure turns them feral and mad.
