Veriluxx Donut Toy

Veriluxx RealPet Donut · robot Donut · the RealPet toy · the Donut doll

The buggy self-destructing robot-cat toy becomes Carl's murder weapon, detonating beside Loita and blowing itself to pieces.

Story so far

The Veriluxx Donut toy meets a fittingly explosive end. Still spouting eerie non-sequiturs ('This is what we all see in the end,' 'Have you ever felt true cold?'), it first knocks Carl's Hobgoblin Disco Ball off the crafting table (dusting Carl in technicolor smoke), then is dragged to the Veriluxx infomercial. There Carl exploits the tab-triggered five-second self-destruct built into its head: he plants the toy on the couch beside Loita inside the sealed underwater trailer and provokes chaos until it detonates.

The blast obliterates the couch, maims Loita, and destroys the toy itself. For the infomercial proper, a non-explosive holographic RealPet Donut and matching holo Mongo toy were used instead — the physical robot's only real role was as a bomb.

Appearance

A heavier three-quarter-scale robot cat with rat-hair fur, stiff joints, and a tabbed self-destruct panel on its head; ultimately a detonated ruin.

Role

Donut's defective merch turned improvised bomb — the weapon of Carl's first assassination.
