Story so far
Princess Donut, level 39, spends the floor's downtime increasingly addicted to her social-media board (worrying Carl) and enjoying alone time with Mongo. When Katia Grim announces she's leaving the party to protect the former daughters, Donut is hurt and near tears — 'We're a team, Katia... You can just ask' — pleading that Mongo will miss his Aunt Katia.
She frets the floor's climax will be anticlimactic ('What if this doesn't work?'), and insists to Katia that it 'does have to end with a giant explosion,' as promised. Ever herself, she also whispers cruel asides about the grateful crocodilian Florin's smell, earning Carl's exasperation.
