The gnome balloon pilot of the Vahana, dropped with the others when Carl hijacks the envoy craft.
Hicks is the Level 25 Dirigible Gnome Aerostat Pilot who flies the envoy balloon Vahana down to the parley and works its heat-burner controls under Leon the Commissar's orders. Carl keeps one eye on him throughout, memorizing the balloon's controls for the moment he'll need to fly it himself. When Princess Donut's Hole opens the basket floor, Hicks plunges to his death with Leon and the sniper Crixus, leaving Carl free to pilot the Vahana up toward the Wasteland.
A small dirigible gnome balloon pilot; specific features undescribed beyond his role at the burner controls.
The Vahana's pilot, whose controls Carl studies before hijacking the balloon.
