Crixus is the Level 52 Dirigible Gnome Sniper Captain who escorts Leon the Commissar aboard the envoy balloon Vahana. Short and black-bearded, he wears a zipper-and-buckle leather jacket and an old round black motorcycle-style helmet (no red cone hat), and carries a fist-wide launcher — a gnomish "Tickle Stick" for firing Live Ammo Balls — plus a bandolier of the grenade-like balls. He trades threats with Princess Donut and Carl, and voices the gnomes' hatred of the camels and their fear of the Mad Dune Mage, who holds a third of the Gate of the Feral Gods and seeks to *replicate* it.
As the balloon rises and the ambush springs, Crixus reacts fast — dropping his launcher to grab a grenade ball — but Donut's Hole opens the basket floor beneath all three gnomes, and he plunges to his death, his grenade flying wide.
