Zombie Communal Mind

Marine Zombie Swarm Awareness

Cuban zombie seals, crabs, and fish share enough awareness that one sighting can draw the surrounding horde.

Story so far

Mordecai warns Carl that the marine undead exhibit a communal or linked mind. A single zombie noticing the Royal Court can alert many others rather than producing only local aggro.

Carl and Donut therefore sneak through alleys and avoid even weak lone creatures. When one zombie fish spots them and calls out, additional zombies down the street immediately turn toward the group, confirming the danger.

Appearance

One zombie fish emitting a red signal that lights up many seal and crab eyes across city streets.

Role

The communal mind turns individually weak undead into city-wide detection nodes.

Relationships

Carl — He changes the route to avoid all sightings.

Princess Donut — She moves quietly with Carl through the city.

Mordecai — He explains the shared-awareness behavior.

Zombie Ocean Spread — The linked marine horde comes from this outbreak.
