character

Princess Formidable

Trapped in Earth orbit, Formidable recognizes the AI's quarantine as hostage-taking and demands a failsafe that would kill her with the system.

Story so far

Formidable openly admits she wants her inept father and brothers deposed but insists the AI crisis is larger than family politics. She is in-system and would die if the star is destroyed.

She accuses the Burrower mantids of selling the Kua-Tin a damaged deranged AI and fleeing. She views incoming provisions but blocked departures as proof the AI is holding the galaxy's elites hostage.

After the council mutes her, she studies Earth and the orbital traffic. She respects the human resistance, distrusts the Valtay's mass-mercenary solution, and concludes the AI's apparent cooperation must be a trap.

Appearance

A horned armored princess cramped in a cruiser cockpit above blue Earth, furious at a muted council screen.

Role

Formidable is the clearest elite voice warning that the AI controls the game and plans beyond the official rules.
