Giant Freshwater Snake

Beached Sea-Snake Creature

An enormous coiled freshwater serpent lies on Cuba's ocean shore beneath Sister Ines and swarms of undead young.

Story so far

Samantha discovers a massive snake-like creature coiled on the beach despite being a freshwater species in the ocean. Baby seals and crabs, apparently zombified, crawl over its body.

Sister Ines stands on its head and recites while the surviving armies perform around it. No floating card marker is visible, leading Carl to suspect the nun charmed the creature rather than summoned it from her deck. Whether the snake itself is undead remains unclear.

Appearance

A colossal wet serpent in a huge coil across a corpse-covered ocean beach.

Role

The snake is the central platform and possible charmed subject of Sister Ines's battlefield ritual.

Relationships

Sister Ines Quiteria — She stands on its head and may have charmed it.
Coastal Charm Ritual — Its coil forms the center of the singing and dancing formation.
Samantha — She scouts the creature from the air.
Demon Eviction — Its uncertain living state determines its possession risk.
